The real introduction of Gwenith Slate

Gwenith was an ambitious girl, and very opinionated. She didn't like anything to get in her way, and even then, she fought for success. But, when her mom died shortly after Gwenith turned 20, she almost gave up on all she cared about. They had a very close relationship, and Gwen could not bare to think about going on without her mother. Eventually, after months of getting better little by little, she picked up her guitar again.

Gwen had picked up her career, and had started talking to her friends again, though something within her had changed. She was bitter, possibly from memories of highschool, or maybe of her verbally abusive stepfather, and she was quiet. She enjoyed sitting alone in the calm of her living room, or when she was with friends she would only listen.

Her story begins here, in the town of Bridgeport, where she has found new grounds and looks forward to new memories. Far enough away from her mother's gravesite, but close enough to be able to visit. To be able to read her epitaph over and over: "Sarah Slate: loving mother and wife. Died of an overdose." ...Had it been Gwen who had written the epitaph, it would have said something much deeper.
